[meme] RvB & Halo AU Meme

Ever wonder what your Freelancer would do if they were able to fight in the war, or how the Spartans would behave if they were recruited as Freelancers? Here's your chance to find out!
How to play:
- Post a top-level with your RvB or Halo character
- List preferences and ideas, or write a starter
- Tag around! It doesn't have to be strictly characters from the other setting, either. Put two Freelancers in the ODST, or put Master Chief and Cortana in Project Freelancer. Let your imagination be your guide!
- Have fun!
[Event] Ship Crash on Chorus
I.
The place where Agent Washington faced down the Meta was deep into the Freelancer facility's security systems, deep into the place where its experimental tech had been moved after the Mother of Invention's crash in the snow. But chief among the signals from barely tested equipment was the Meta's own armor, which gave off many types of energy. Temporal waves are, even now, barely understood, and Wash has no idea when he chooses to set off an electromagnetic pulse to obliterate it that the equipment will be set off one final time. Day 12 | Nexus and Elsewhere
Who: Open post!
What: There are a few prompts that can be played with, but, generally speaking, space marines in 21st century Japan.
Where: The nexus … and a portal to Somewhere Completely Different
When: Day 12
What happens when you add together: 1) a dimensional nexus that transcends time and space, and 2) a formerly shattered-to-beyond-oblivion multiverse?
Well …
It’s the twelfth day since the nexus opened its doors. People — whether they’re brightly colored space marines, long dead Freelancers, or assorted others — have been doing as people will do; some minding their own business, others getting all up in whatever, or whoever, they can. No doubt that more than a couple of visitors have figured out how to make the portals work for them, opening up the gateways between universes. However, today … today, there's a slight twist to the tale.
The portals don't lead to the MoI, crashed or otherwise. They don't lead to Chorus, either, or a simulation base. No. Today, the portals allow access to twenty first century Japan — downtown Tokyo, to be specific, in the middle of summer. Bet you weren't expecting that! But wait, it gets better …
I. Prompt 1: Nice Costume, Cosplayer!
II. You Didn’t Do It! … Or Did You?
III. The Lucky Wildcard

I. Prompt 1: Nice Costume, Cosplayer!
They're animanga fans, and they love your armor. They want pictures. They want pictures with you. Can they try on your helmet?
Or maybe you're just, y’know, trying to mind your own business while literally everyone stops and turns to stare. There may be a lecture about when and where cosplay is appropriate waiting in the wings, or maybe it’s just that nobody — nobody — is willing to take you seriously.
II. You Didn’t Do It! … Or Did You?
You were just accused of murder.
Yes, you.
Maybe you did it, maybe you didn't. Maybe you were actually caught red handed, smoking gun and all! Maybe you were in the wrong place at the time — or, hell, is there even a body? Whatever the case may be, you're the prime suspect, and the police (or sassy high school detectives) are never far away.
III. The Lucky Wildcard
If you're not being mistaken for a cosplayer or facing down a charge for murder in the first degree, what are you up to? Whether you're in Japan, back in the nexus, or in any of the newly linked universes; anything goes!

Day 1 | Carolina | S13 in the alien temple
[Stepping through the portal to find herself in the trial for the 'true warrior' and finding herself in a teleporter nexus wasn't exactly what she'd expected to see.
Although she hadn't actually been sure what she'd see, given that it seemed to vary from person to person.]
Epsilon, where the hell are we?
Epsilon, answer me.
[No response which had her tensing, fingers tightening on her gun as she looked aroumd. It seemed deserted, but better safe than sorry.]

[Event] Introduction to the Nexus / MoI crash
I.
Within the fabric of the multiverse the differing possibilities of each branch are woven, overlapping but separate, converging and looping at times, but often wriggling apart by ever-increasing degrees until the substance of it is thick with possibilities. This fabric is five-dimensional, not recognizable in its true form to the beings that are forced to live within the constraints of linear time and three-dimensional space. Unknown to those who live out the events contained within it, the sense of it is only kept by the special properties of the interactions between universes—it would seem that each universe is independent, but the nature of this fabric is such that certain events—convergence events—tie each universe together in an indelible way.
